I absolutely loved my stay at Tapirus Lodge. My partner and I spent two nights here, immersed in the stunning rainforest surroundings. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The restaurant served delicious food, both for dinner and breakfast, and we enjoyed dining in the lovely surroundings. The shower in our room was powerful and provided hot water, which was perfect after a day of exploring. I especially loved sitting on our balcony, taking in the beauty of the rainforest. One of the highlights of our stay was the on-site zip wire, which was so much fun! The staff who guided us on the zip wire tour were fantastic. Another highlight was the night walk led by a knowledgeable guide who found an incredible variety of creatures.
I do recommend this hotel.

The lodge also prioritizes preserving the natural environment, which I appreciated. The staff were knowledgeable, patient, and polite, making the excursions even more enjoyable. The lodge's location in the Braulio Carrillo National Park was a hidden gem and provided breathtaking views. The nearby restaurant, "La cocina de Mami", was a convenient and friendly place to grab a bite.

The secluded location of this lodge offers a true jungle experience, surrounded by beautiful flora and fauna. Guests have the opportunity to spot animals like tapirs, sloths, and cuatis right on the premises. The self-guided birding around the restaurant and on the private road is exceptional, with a wide variety of bird species to observe. Additionally, the lodge provides comfortable accommodation and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly.
The meal service at the lodge could be improved in terms of communication and clarity, particularly regarding the availability of certain dishes and pricing.

The staff were incredibly helpful and polite, and the guide who led our nature walks was knowledgeable and fun. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the rainforest, and the activities like the treetop cable car and zip-lines were unique and thrilling. It was the perfect stop for us on our drive to the east coast. Highly recommended!
